What I Offer

I offer yoga that is body positive, heart centered, and strength based.  I believe that a strength based approach celebrates people in whatever form they show up.  We all have easy and hard days. I think that we need to focus on our daily accomplishments rather than our perceived failures or shortcomings.  

About Me

Hello, my name is Kayla Yuzdepski. I am certified in Yoga Alliance recognized Yin and Hatha styles of Yoga. I was born and raised in Alberta and love to spend time in nature. I am a firm believer that nature is one of the best healing tools. I am passionate about offering people a space where they feel safe and supported. My calling in life is to serve my community while helping people find ways of bettering themselves.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of the yogis and teachers that have come before, without them I would not be where I am. Yoga comes from a rich tradition. I am but a small part of a tradition that is over 5000 years old, I pay great respect to the history and traditions of this lifestyle and practice.

In the spirit of love, respect, healing and reconciliation, I would like to acknowledge that I am a vistort to this land that I live and work on. I acknowledge that we are on Treaty 7 territory. These are the traditional land of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Lyaxe Nakoda, and Tsuut’ina Nation, and Metis.

I acknowledge that we all come from different life experiences and that we should not be judged based on the color of our skin, the expression of our gender, or who we love. I believe that no matter who you are you deserve a safe space that is welcoming and non-judgemental.
